Every waking night and enhanced day shift opens a live workspace: what the person needs tonight, prompts for meaningful records, safety check-ins for the worker and a handover that only the worker on shift can sign.
The workspace pulls the person's plan, risks, medicines and the previous handover into a pre-shift pack. During the shift, prompts come from the plan and medicines due, and each record follows a simple contract: what was observed, what support was given, how the person experienced it, the outcome and what comes next.
The worker checks in on an interval from the plan. If a check-in is missed, Verio escalates step by step โ in-app prompt, office call to the fallback number, an on-call case, then the welfare or emergency route โ and each step happens once.
The handover is drafted from the records with its own gaps listed. Five areas must be answered and any pending outcome completed before the worker signs. Dormant periods are explained and reviewed; managers see an assurance view across nights.
Every waking night gets a workspace; other nights and enhanced days follow the approved plan. Sleep-ins never do.
Corrections are addenda. An event without an outcome stays pending until someone completes it.
The workspace collects no location. The rota's GPS check-in is separate and unchanged.
We'll walk through the worker's view and the office's live view.
